Wow, i've been a Moderator for 7 years.... Crazy, ne?
But as with all good things, they must come to an end. As some of the current Staff already know, I have been contemplating retirement for quite some time. The demands of real life have been steadily increasing every year, and they've reached the point where I just don't have the time or energy that I need in order to maintain the same level of consistency and quality in both the Indy Art gallery and Forums (in addition to all the other odds and ends).
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with a great variety of people here on Staff, and know that I leave my sections here in good hands. I will still pop in from time to time, but unfortunately not in an administrative capacity. It is a secret, selfish wish of mine that someday the MT-Maigetsu return.... I will keep my fingers crossed for that!
I also feel very fortunate to have had this chance to meet and chat with members from all over the world, and make a number of good friends in the almost 10 years that I have been a member of Minitokyo. I am constantly in awe of just how diverse our population here at MT is!
I am also thankful for having the opportunity to meet so many of the amazingly talented artists we have on here as well as seeing their art submissions and growth over the years. Really, you all are the reason that it has been so difficult for me to retire!
Well... not quite a Darthas or CyanideBlizzard-esque length post, but it'll have to do for now. Thanks again MT-ers past and present for being the awesomely amazing group of people that you are! For those of you that I have on dA, FB, LINE, or Skype, I'll catch you around!
