For me it's a nonsense that the ones who are supposed to keep the site in peace and made the members behave in a proper and tolerant way made just the opposite, I just don't get it.
I want to make something clear, I don't hate anyone here at MT, after all this is just internet, and I appreciate the work of the mods of MT, but I think we have to search answers and solutions, not just the same old problems over and over again.
Look at this thread, very few people are actually apporting something new, most of the post are just about how great they think Jin is (I haven't talk or interact with him in any way, so I just don't know), and how clear he has explain his point. Thanks for finally voicing what many of us here feel. Those who sit back and bitch about the mods should really try running a site like this and keep it from getting to the point where the people in higher places shut it down do to the offencive matterial. I admit freely that I have in the past sent things at where deleted because they did not meet MT's standards, BUT I (unlike other child like persons who will remain nameless in this posting) do not throw a fit and start cussing out the mads. I learned that there is a line that you don't cross. If you want the porn then got to the anime pron sites and jerk off there, but Keep this site pron free!
Now I must say in defence of some double posters (not those who rip off walls though, scans only) That with the quantity of scan here it is hard not to double post. Sorry to those whose images I did double up. But those who rip off other works and try to claim they made them are nothing but theives in my eye.

I've got a couple issues about this...
Frankly, I think complaining about leechers is equivalent to the forum people complaining about something stupid - like crappy gallery submissions getting deleted. It's fairly obvious that a collection of scans and wallpapers as large as this will attract much attention - some or most unwanted. On the second point, assuming I ever post enough to get to level 10, leaving a comment on every damned wallpaper I choose to download is a little excessive. Considering what draws many people to anime, I'm hardly surprised that the wallpapers with barely clothed women are the most popular. And you offend the politically correct. Some people are left handed.
Now, I'm not very familiar with the way experience is credited, but the following assumptions:
All posts are credited equally
Responses to your topics give you some experience
All gallery and scan submissions are credited equallyIf all of these are in fact true, I think the creation of multiple topics that garner attention from people wanting to promote their own unheard opinions are something hardly unexpected. (Maybe you mods should make one topic and sticky it in the appropriate forums.) Have I contributed to the masses of spam in this forum? Undoubtedly. It's the reason even at level 5. Were I to be given experience based on the amount of intelligent posts I've made, I'd still be at level 1.
The general intelligence of this forum seems to be under average. Or just the apathy. I've never seen a religion topic gather so little attention. Even a Diablo II forum was swamped with such arguments. Maybe it's something found only on exclusively anime forums? Having spent my share of time in other forums, it's a long and hard search for topics that actually spark my interest.
Having said that, I think I'll go join the rest of the forum members in contributing to useless topics to reach my level 10. Oops. I meant: I'll go join the rest of the forum members in the active, intelligent discussions that make a forum worth visiting.

Tecnophreak, that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Were I a wallpaper artist or...scanner...I'd appreciate comments made from actual appreciation. Obligation kills the spirit. Download to comment ratio- aren't most downloads those of the barely clothed women? Who wants to waste time on those?

I understand that when a change or suggestion is made, it needs some responses to affirm to the moderators that it's a good idea. Having just read the Rude and Critical Comments thread, however, it reaffirms my statements regarding spam and intelligence. The bad humor brought to the thread by most of the posters there was repeated. Over, and over. "U R SUK. BANN MEH j/kj/kj/k!@!" Any reason why those posts need to be credited with experience? Or, in fact, most of the affirmations here?

This may be out of place. But I belive I am in the right topic.
I'd just like to know how much if any donate's/google clikcs MT gets. I mean, a site of this size and with so many memebers/ amazeing wallpapers, you must be getting a good ammount of money,right?
Heck,not to brag,but my greek mate runs a how to backup your dvds,and gets at the least $80+ a month in google clicks each month. And donates, alot. So I'd think that MT would get somewere around that number,corrent? Plus donates, sure. So then why do thease posts of paying to become a member/ download wallpapers keep poping up?
If you charged just $5.00 to each mamber X the ammout as stated by: Nuriko, that you have 35578 mambers, so thats = $177890.00 !!! Hell,you be like the microsoft of wallpapers site. With that ammound,you'd no longer be useing it for server,but for liveing expecives.
So forgive me rave about it. I guess to sum it up as nicely as I can, I think that:
1: The site should more than easly be put onto a 100Mbits server. They are quite cheap now.
And
2: Asking for members to pay is insane.

For the most part, very well said. I think the anger could have been toned down a bit, but then again, I don't have to deal with all of the BS you must get for the speed of the site, etc.
As for me, as of right now I'm running dialup, and yes, it is painfully slow sometimes. however, the services renedered here for free make the wait well worth it. I actually intend to start dabbling in creating walls and artwork myself, as soon as I receive my copy of Photoshop 7. *goes to donate*To know what is right and choose to ignore it is the act of a coward.

He said almost everything I wanted to. The same applies to me. It is hard not to double the scan considering the amount of scans already uploaded to MT. Yet you can always check in galleries if the scan was not already posted and if it was but you did not see it and the scan was deleted as a double then do not rants at the mods!!!

i totally agree with you too. I didn't knew all those rules and problematic points. Now with jinzhou post and the support section i think i know the most important. And i don't think his language was rude. It sounds clear even to not english-speaking persons like me.

I agree with the general sentiment of this thread, as I've been an administrator in other online communities, but for us new members of the community who are under level 10, it's really important to us when wallpapers we've worked on are deleted just moments after they were posted for reasons that are clearly untrue, like "you posted someone else's work as your own". We're new. . . we would like input in how to make our wallpapers better, and just axing what we've worked on before we can get comments and suggestions is, in my opinion, a bit irresponsible.

Ok lets get something clear here.... There is no Hispanic Race, there is and Hispanic culture based on speaking spanish but not a race. Being white is a race, being black is a race, ... but not being hispanic. Hispanic people are the ones that have the Spanish languaje as first languaje, there is countries with 90% of black skinned people that are hispanic, the people in Argentina are mostly white and they speak spanish.
So be politically correct and stop using this "Spanic Race" thing...
