I've always felt that cybering was lame. Those that do this kind of stuff only leave themselves open for humiliation and/or entertainment for others are the cost of their own dignity.
Like that hilarious guy who kept cybering people with different screennames and doing stuff like role playing as a wizard or rhinoceros, and on the show The War At Home, the dad is caught having internet relations with a woman through AIM.

I think they have no-life and with only asking for that they act like total idiots. I mean, having sex through the internet... the phrase itself sounds so stupid and pathetic that it's scary lol. I don't know what are those people thinking about, I'm amazed that they don't die because of a sudden attack of self-stupidity :P Honestly, they should get a life and chill, leave their PC's alone for a while...

1. Testerone, most men are lustful by nature(woman?)
2.sadly, woman deprived(as in sex deprived)

That's such a loaded question...
Instead of asking "Do men like to have sex over the internet (and if so, why?)" you ask "Why do men like to have sex over the internet", which automatically affirms the proposition that men do like to have sex over the internet.
I hardly think that men, in general, like to have sex over the internet. The only reason for seeing alot of men wanting sex on the internet is because men who don't want it simply don't talk about it. Think of it this way: Would men who don't want sex over the internet go around forums saying "I don't want to cyber"? As for the individuals who do cyber... whoa whoa whoa! you people are so harsh! i've had sex across the net before and i am a GIRL (there's plenty of girls that are more out there on the net than they are off it, much the same as guys). i don't find it disgusting, it's just a substitute for real sex if you can't get it, or get it with that person due to whatever country they live in.
physical contact can be excellent, but if you live far away from that person you meet across the net, or someone you knew once and moved away OR if you're just shy/ wouldn't dream of being so forward offline then it can be a good thing.
