well back in the day i had to prepare a report on the Medellin Drug Cartel which was fronted by Rodriguez Gacha, Ochoa brothers (their ancestors were smugglers), Carlos Ledher, and Pablo Escobar. this group became so powerfull [billionaires] that they turned Colombia into a Narcodemocracy. they killed policeman, judges, gov't officials, innocent people etc. any1 who didn't take the bribe or moved against them was killed. but in the end they were dismantled and Escobar was killed. so the moral of this tale is no-one can't be brought down, no matter how much power ones attains.

btw- cocaine trafficking still occurs only it's run by the military.

nope these guys never used it themselves they just liked to sell it to other people. especially the U.S. every1 loves Americans.

the miltiary [er think an offshoot of their armed forces i.e defecting rebels] are controlling it now. they run their labortories in the jungle. according to a recent Wired article there is speculation that they have the capacity to genetically modify the DNA strain of the cocoa crop. this is necessary since the Americans and Columbian army regularily spray the crops with pesticides, which renders the crop useless. enter the genetic modification.

i guess if there's money and power [as you have duly noted xand] people will always be involved.

Hahaha... man, that sounds so stupid.... ~_~ well, it seems that it's the military or rebels as you said are that stupid, heh... but if i'm correct, the same technique is used on normal farms and fields where they plant tomatoes, potatoes and whatsoever right? They spray something on it to make it bigger etcetera, etcetera... etc. So that's not something to be considered "cutting edge", unless those "rebels" are retarded :pacman: *woka, woka, woka*

And no, that math equation isn't quite true. Time can equal something else as well, keep that in mind.

And money isn't the root of evil. Some people need money too, and money can be good for the better of society, given that it can help others live out a better life ^_^

Though sometimes I find it rather annoying how people wave lots of money right in front of you and give it freely away. Ticks me off a bit.
