it's hard for me to say it 'cause i'm the cold-hearted oldest sibling in the family.
i only say it to them when they are already asleep. i'm not use to saying this thing to my family.
but with my friends, i can say it out loud..like..

Depends on to who and in which situation.
To my boyfriend I think it's very hard... I have said it several times of course, but I don't really like to spam ILY ILY ILY all the time. And when I want to say it, and mean it from the bottom of my heart as well, it's REALLY hard. >.>;;

I can never say it to my parents either. Too awkward. Or friends... if we hang out, and I'd suddenly blurt out "I love you". Err, wtf, they'd give me that weird face and I'd just like to go away instantly or something. XD

Online, if I'm a bit playful, it's easy for me to say it. "OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU <3333" Really isn't that hard.

If I love someone no. Thing is I wont say it unless I love someone. I hate people that throw the word around meaninglessly, it holds no weight if you just started seeing someone and it's laughable. If someone says it right out of the gate then how will you ever know if they actually do? I don't like to throw the world around, but I have no problem sharing my feelings with people, hell, I'm a little too open sometimes, if I hate someone I seem to have no issue telling them that either, haha.

i have troubles saying i love you and meaning it.. naturally i say it to my friends and if i love someone i will say it... i say i love you to many people but they deserve it and everyone needs love .. kinda an oxymoron

what is your purpose in life?

I'm the kind of person who's too shy to be affectionate in public (or in my own home). My family and friends know that I love them, but I'm just not into those overly-exaggerated greetings (like when two or more friends act like they haven't seen each other for 10 years instead of 10 hours and immediately hug one another).

I don't have any problem saying it to my mom, mostly because I've been saying it to her for forever, even when I'm mad at her. It just wouldn't feel right to not say it. But I really have a problem saying it to my sister, even though I want her to hear it sometimes.

I only say it to my mother in truth out load to anyone and no one else in my family due to not having those kinds of feelings for anyone else at this time. Personally I do love my friends in more of a family type of way then my own blood in truth.

This is a very complex question indeed.

Saying i love you makes oneself vulnerable, no matter how hard we try to deny it, human existance is based upon the people around us. For one of those people to reject you or take advantage of such an overwhelming vulnerability can cause irrepairable damage to that person.

I find it near immpossible to say "I love you" to anyone I'm truly in love with. because the more you do love them, the harder it would be for that person to reject you.

I say i love you in two ways, seriously or i say it slightly inscincerely. (self defense 101)

i say it half heartedly to ppl like my bestest friends, my bro and my mom.

the only time i was very serious about it was why i'm so scynical about saying it now.....
