Maybe this topic has already been presented among these forums, but I'm new around here so forgive me if it has. Suicide is always a touchy topic, and some believe the act to be openly selfish and indulgant, but I think after analyzing it a bit more in a lot of cases it can be very different from the stereotypical selfish belief.
I'm not really interested in getting religion involved, since there's already so many threads geared in that direction anyway. I also think it diverts thinking from the actual subject at hand, so you don't like suicide because your religion condemns it? That's great but it doesn't really tell me anything about you or how you feel about the subject. Personally I'm tired of people using religion as an excuse or front to feel the way they do, if you have something to impose then just say it and believe in it, don't lessen it's meaning by backing it up with "God says so."
